Then we have the job for you! Proxy is looking for a freelance UI/UX Designer. Location is not an issue as this is a remote position.

In this position, you would work with the Proxy team and directly with clients to design, build, and launch new and redesigned websites using Elementor Page Builder. You’ll help clients determine the best look for their brand, plus the ideal pages and user flows to make conversions easier for end users.

What you’d be doing:

• Logo and corporate identity design

• Troubleshoot and offer UX solutions to issues discovered on client websites.

• Creating intuitive user flows by choosing the ideal pages and site mapping solutions

• Designing, building, and launching websites built with WordPress and Elementor, including various third-party integrations (and the occasional bits of custom code)

• Migrating websites to new hosting environments and making sure DNS and MX records work correctly 

• Problem solving and creating more efficient workflows

• Thinking of ways to make sites even easier for clients to use

What we’re looking for:

• Proficiency with WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce

• Proficiency in logo design and corporate identity

• Fundamentally understanding of user experience principles

• An AMAZING eye for design.

• Strong illustration skills

• Experience migrating sites including MX and DNS records configurations.

• A strong portfolio of Elementor and/or WordPress sites

• Very limited to basic familiarity of code languages (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)

Bonus Points:

• Animation Skills / Lottie Animations

• Strong coding skills (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)

• SEO and keyword planning knowledge

What’s the pay like?

All pay is per project. Standard sites range from $3,000 – $4,000 depending on experience. Larger and more intensive projects are paid considerably higher rates. Each project rate is negotiated before work begins with 50% paid up front and 50% paid upon completion.
