Then we have the job for you! Proxy is looking for a freelance Web Developer / Designer. Location is not an issue as this is a remote position. In this position, you would work with the Proxy team and directly with clients to design, build, and launch new websites via Elementor Page Builder, add kick ass effects with JS, oversee cloud based server infrastructure, and manage seamless client website migrations, while always keeping the client’s ability to use the site easily in mind.

What you’d be doing:

• Designing, building, and launching websites built with WordPress and Elementor, including various third-party integrations, and some bits of custom code

• Troubleshoot and offer technical solutions to issues discovered on client websites.

• Manage cloud based server architecture

• Assist with migrating websites to new hosting environments

• Assist with website and hosting security solutions

• Problem solving and creating more efficient workflows

What we’re looking for:

• Proficiency with WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce

• Proficiency with front end development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)

• A good eye for design. (Illustration skills not required)

• Proficiency managing DNS records & CDN configurations for a seamless migration process

• A portfolio of Elementor and/or WordPress sites

Bonus Points:

• Proficiency with PHP, Python, Laravell

• Experience developing WordPress themes & plugins

What’s the pay like?

All pay is per project. Standard sites range from $3,000 – $4,000 depending on experience. Larger and more intensive projects are paid considerably higher rates. Each project rate is negotiated before work begins with 50% paid up front and 50% paid upon completion.
